There's a new trading blows mechanic/mini-game in 2K24.

Basically, you'll be timing your button presses to fall within a "win zone". Fail three times and you'll lose, thus giving your opponent a significant advantage in the match. Some early previews for the game weren't too keen on this addition, but it will make title matches feel more epic than they did before.
