10 Albums You Won't Believe Are 10 Years Old In 2016

1. Taylor Swift €“ Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is such a musical powerhouse these days that it's easy to forget her history. Despite her relatively recent transition to pop superstar (with songs like Shake It Off and I Knew You Were Trouble) Swift's rise in popularity began as far back as 2008's album Fearless, which spawned the single Love Story. But Swift's true beginning was in 2006, with the release of her début, self-titled record, which was firmly rooted in the country genre. The album is a far cry from the kind of stuff she's releasing now, and was well-received by critics. It spawned five platinum-certified singles including Tim McGraw, Picture To Burn and Teardrops On My Guitar. Unlike most of the entries on this last, it's actually quite difficult to believe Taylor Swift has been releasing music for so long, since her youth and recent genre transition makes her feel like a fresh face on the music scene.
