10 Best Rock Music Videos Of The 2000s

10. No One Knows - Queens Of The Stone Age

The first thing to say about the video for Queens of the Stone Age's No One Knows is yes, that is Dave Grohl playing the drums.

The Foo Fighters frontman had worked on the album in the studio, so the band thought it was the right thing to do to give him some credit in the video.

Because, you know, he was such an unknown back in 2002...

Grohl appears in the musical parts of the video, which sees the band playing with a strange blue hue around them. It's a pretty neat trick, but it's not why this video makes the list.

That would be the narrative section, which involves the band members sans Grohl hitting a deer with their car. Don't worry about the furry friend though, as he proceeds to get right back up and beat the living daylights out of the musicians.

This is such a funny video and it strikes a great balance between its more nonsensical portions and shots of the band just jamming out.

It's also a great advert for taking care whilst driving at night - you never know what might happen if you take your eyes off the road.
