Another from 'Surfer Rosa', 'Tony's Theme' opens with Kim Deal proclaiming 'This is a song about a superhero named Tony!', the songs features some of Black Francis' most feral vocals, which are almost indistinguishable from his bark, which finishes the song with a 'TOE-NEHY! TOE-NEHY!' While the subject matter seems relatively tame (apparently a boy riding his bike after school), the sheer energy that the band attack this song with is madness, but astoundingly good!
