10 Musicians That Will Never Work With Each Other Again

6. Hayley Williams vs. Josh Farro - Paramore

The pop punk revival going on at the turn of the century seemed to be all about good times and partying. Though we were still a far ways off from the likes of hair metal from back in the day, the sheer bravado of something like Sum 41 was enough to please the middle school stripe of rock fan just fine. Like middle school though, there's a fine line between things going great and taking a nose dive.

As Paramore were preparing to release their third outing Brand New Eyes, tensions were at an all time high, as evidenced in most of the lyrics to something like Ignorance and Brick by Boring Brick. Although the rollout for the album went about as smooth as you might expect, the departure of the Farro Brothers was a big blow to the infrastructure, especially considering their hand in writing some of the music. This wasn't an amicable split either, with Josh Farro going on to claim that the band was a manufactured product and actually calling out Hayley Williams directly.

The relationships got even more complicated when Josh's brother Zac Farro came back onboard the Paramore train for After Laughter just a couple of years ago. As much as things seemed hectic in 2009, it's nice to hear that at least some of the bridges have been mended since then.
