The temptation is to suggest that this is simply a ruse by a bunch of eager Disney fans to create a real-life version of the Little Mermaid. But in reality it's something else entirely, born of considerable talent. The underwater music festival celebrates it's 30th anniversary in 2014 and attracts a larger fan base each year. It's held in the Florida Keys and is primarily organised to characterizes north America's only living coral barrier reef, raise awareness for its natural beauty and aid in its preservation. With fish-shaped instruments and all possibilities opened up to them this is the chance for any aspiring artist - or any established artist too for that matter - to sacrifice their credibility and have a little fun jamming underneath the sea. This is certainly something that has to be seen to be believed and as far as I'm aware the event has never attracted any major celebrity performances. Which is a shame, because it's an important issue and one that could use some real attention.
