10 Rock Artists That Had Hit Singles Over A Decade Apart

10. Pink Floyd - 12 Years

Though they've contributed some of the greatest albums ever made, psychedelic masters Pink Floyd haven't had a great deal of luck when it's come to singles.

They haven't had a song chart in America since 1994 and only one of their songs has reached the top spot in the US. That was the epic Another Brick in the Wall (Part II), aka the only part of that song anybody actually knows, which peaked at number one in 1979.

Another Brick also reached these heights in the band's homeland of the UK, their first song to enter the top ten since 1967's See Emily Play.

Serving as the band's second ever single, See Emily Play is regarded as one of the best tracks from Syd Barrett's time with the group and has been covered by numerous great artists in the many years since its release.

Given what a powerful force they are in culture, it's a bit upsetting to think that Pink Floyd have gone so long without a big charting single.

Maybe there's still time for the band to pull it off, although that would require working out which of the members are still friends.
