Pixie made her US acting debut in 2010 with a girl-next-door role in film for television, Fred: The Movie. She had a starring role as love interest Judy, in the film version of Fred which was a hit YouTube series which attracted up to 45 million views. The story line surrounds Fred's crush on Judy and his quest to sing a duet with her. When she moves house, Fred embarks on an epic and hilarious journey to track his dream girl down. The film marked a double victory for Pixie, whose song Boys and Girls also featured on the soundtrack.
