There is no way I could leave out the fact that R&B singer Aaliyah was one of the best of her time. "Try Again" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2000 for good reason. This single was produced by well-known music producer Timbaland (who makes his typical, out of place appearance in the music video). The vocals on the song are near perfect, the song is extremely catchy, and the dance moves Aaliyah pulls out in the music video are truly awesome. Her untimely death in a plane crash in 2001 was absolutely heartbreaking to several million fans. That was thirteen years ago, and to this day, her music is still extremely popular and downloaded as if she were a new artist again.
