So this doesnt affect all guitarists, and not all guys are guilty either, but occasionally, just occasionally, youll have some bro (who might not even play guitar himself) that decides girls cant play guitar. Hell ask something like well where are all the female guitarists? and youll talk about Carrie Brownstein and Orianthi and Marissa Paternoster and Annie Clark, and hell say something ill-informed and irritating which tempts you into making a scene. The best way to deal with this, though, is just to grab any guitar nearby (or improvise with nearby objects if youre really annoyed and want to prove your point while also terrifying him), and blast his stupid face out of the room with your talent and ability. Job done.
