Ace Frehley: 10 Awesome Solo Tracks You Need To Hear Again

By Reverend Rock /

1. €œSnowblind€ from Ace Frehley, 1978

Absolutely the best solo Ace Frehley track ever recorded, period. €œSnowblind€ is one of the finest examples of €˜70€™s hard rock morphing into metal right before our ears. The underlying riff is reminiscent of contemporary Sabbath and leads to a crushingly heavy (for the time) chorus. The tune also features some of Frehley€™s best lead work on what is simply the best overall album of the entire catalogue. €œRip It Out€, the album€™s opener deserves honourable mention. Thanks for reading one observer's opinions regarding one of Rock's most important figures. I hope you have enjoyed revisiting these songs or, perhaps, hearing them for the first time.
