In case you didn't know, the drunk driving epidemic is a pretty big problem. Just looking at the statistics, you'll become absolutely terrified thinking of who is potentially behind the wheel of a car. For instance: An average drunk driver has driven drunk 80 times before their first arrest. 50 to 75 percent of convicted drunk drivers continue to drive on a suspended license. Every day in America, at least 28 people die as a result of drunk driving crashes. It's very real, shocking stuff. In this episode the teens watch a video made by a young man named Matthew Cordle who confessed that he killed a man while driving drunk. He turned himself into authorities and the video went viral. After watching the confessional all of the teens simultaneously promise to indeed never drink and get behind the wheel. FYI, Cordle was ultimately sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison and a lifetime suspension of his driver's license.
