For every student whos ever been frustrated by a teachers lack of... teaching, this ones for you. Back in 2013, Jeff Bliss, a sophomore at Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, went off on his World History teacher after being kicked out of class. In a rant which was recorded by a classmate, Bliss criticized his teacher for giving out packets instead of engaging with students. The video later went viral and thus ended up becoming the focus of a Teen React episode. In this episode the teens reacted to the viral video and discussed some of the points Bliss was raising. In particular, they were asked if they agreed with the overall message. The overwhelming answer seemed to be yes indeed. There are many problems with the educational system today (educational management, costs vs. outcomes, etc) and it's nice that videos like this bring the topic to light. Also, let's not forget the fact that schoolteachers seemed to be grossly underpaid (and giving them less of an incentive to care about what they're doing). Just look at 22-year-old Jessica Vanessa who recently quit her job as an assistant kindergarten teacher to becomes a professional twerker. Times are hard! Though, that's a topic for another day.
