10. Tiny Stones Are One Of Your Biggest Enemies

You€™ll be cruising down the street with the wind in your hair and not a care in the world. Then, all of a sudden, your board will suddenly stop, sending you flying forwards and landing face first on the floor. These tiny stones may be the size of a grain of rice, but they feel like a tremendous boulder, causing you annoyance beyond belief. Could this be any more embarrassing? It always seems to only happen when people are watching. Whenever this happens in a solitary moment you will be able to save yourself and run off, but as soon as you enter a public place you are bound to experience this devastating moment. After you€™ve skated for a couple of years you will instinctively check every spot for any evidence of a tiny stone which will ruin your day. Maybe you come prepared with a broom, or maybe you have even thought ahead enough to hide one at your local spot. It€™s absolutely astonishing at how much damage a tiny, minuscule stone can do to a skateboarder of any ability; it doesn€™t matter if you are Tony Hawk, Ryan Sheckler, Nyjah Huston or a little kid at the skate park. At some point in your time skateboarding, you will fall victim to this vicious phenomena.
