Not exactly the "coolest" fact ever, but it's an interesting little tidbit, nonetheless. So Kate Upton comes from a pretty successful family, apparently, given that little thing mentioned earlier with her great-grandfather and the founding of Whirlpool (big deal), and now this: her uncle, one Frederick Stephen "Fred" Upton, is a member of the United States House of Representatives for Michigan's 6th congressional district - and has been since 1987. Aside from also being a huge Chicago Cubs fan, Upton is also Chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, which sounds like a sweet gig. Nice one, Fred. Keep it up.
