Kate Upton didn't exactly have to try for very long to get her big break as a model. Upon attending a open casting call for Elite Model Management back in 2008, she was signed on the very same day. Somebody certainly saw huge potential in the then 16-year-old Upton, because ever since then her career has gone from strength to strength. Not long after the EMM gig, Upton moved to New York and was later signed by a company called IMG Models.
