The two of you are super organised and you have to plan ahead, it's impossible not to in these sorts of situations. You keep yourself busy in the meantime and focus on getting through each day which makes you fiercely independent, so when your partner surprises you with a visit, you don't know what to do with yourself. If you've already made plans then your friends should understand that this is a flying visit, and whilst you see those clowns all the time, it's important to be sensitive to everyone. As much as you want time alone, maybe invite your partner out with your friends so they can get to know each other? Try not to leave too early or start ripping each other's clothes off in the restaurant though, have some manners.
