Over the course of three days there were panels about upcoming live action movies, a ceremony to welcome new Legends and even a Scrooge McDuck Money Bin photo spot. Fans queued up for hours, some even overnight, to get into the hottest panels at the Expo.

For fans of the Disney's theme parks, especially Walt Disney World, the D23 Expo is usually a place where the biggest announcements are made. At the last D23 in 2015, both Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land were officially revealed as well as Frozen Ever After.

In the build up to this year's event there have been quite a few rumours about what changes we could expect to see. Speculation that we could see Mickey's Great Movie Ride at Hollywood Studios, perhaps a huge overhaul of Epcot and also a Tron Coaster being built on the Speedway track were circulating Twitter in the build up to the event.

Some rumours turned out to be correct, others didn't quite turn out as anticipated.
