William Howard Taft, the 27th President Of The United States, was fat. But ludicrously fat. Astronomically. Like that episode of The Simpsons where Homer intentionally gets obese enough that he gets to work from home, with the muumuu and everything. He was a pretty neat Commander In Chief, working in academia and and the pursuit of world peace. That's what he did after he left the White House, and it's rather credible. But that isn't a mind blowing fact. What's mind blowing is that his weight meant that he frequently got stuck in the White House bath tub, and required the help of aides to get out. He later got a custom bath tub made and installed.
