Hit during WWII by an incendiary bomb, The Church of St. Luke on the corner of Berry Street and Leece Street has stood untouched since, a hollow husk known to most as that ever perfect central meeting point in town - right near all the shops and that - The Bombed Out Church. No one is actually sure whether Liverpool City Council left it as a shell as a reminder to us all of humanitys past foibles, or they just couldnt be arsed sorting it and then eventually forgot it was there.
