Marc Richards was Northampton's leading goalscorer last season, netting an impressive 18 times in 31 league games. The striker - who started his career at Blackburn Rovers - has played for Barnsley, Port Vale and, most recently, Chesterfield and has netted plenty of times for each. At 33 years of age, Richards has netted more than 100 goals in 350-plus professional appearances and has also previously represented England at Under-18 and Under-20 levels.
