9. Greg Albertyn At The Houston Supercross, 1996

(Skip to 22:30 to find the clip) It would be almost impossible to compile a list like this one without including the great Greg Albertyn. Albertyn moved to America after winning multiple world titles from 1992 to 1994. However, after making the move, the South African struggled to adapt to the totally alien Supercross series. This resulted in an incredible amount of spectacular crashes! I am sure that even €˜Albee€™ himself would be proud of securing an entire section on the first instalment of €˜Pain€™ on VHS (perhaps the best piece of cinema ever created). Here we see the perfect example of Albertyn€™s perfectly executed ejection technique, which was honed to perfection during his first few seasons in Supercross. Albertyn is forced to abandon the bike in mid-air over a huge quad at the 1996 Houston Supercross, incredibly spectacular!
