The Daryl Janmaat of pre-February 28th and post-February 28th are extremely different players. At £6 million, the former appeared to be an absolute bargain buy - with Newcastle supporters lauding the 23-cap Dutch international's performances, and rightly so. However, ever since the Magpies beat Aston Villa on February 28th and embarked on their 10-match winless run, the 25-year-old right-back has appeared petty, tetchy and quite-frankly childish. His red card at Leicester City in injury-time was embarrassing and smacked of a player who simply did not want to be out on the pitch fighting for the cause. There is little doubt Janmaat will aim to leave Tyneside even if the Magpies remain in the Premier League - and if they are relegated he will be off like a shot, with clubs including Liverpool reportedly interested in his signature.
