10 Players Who Probably Regret Leaving Real Madrid

6. Kaka

Mike Egerton/EMPICS SportIn 2013, Kaka decided to leave Real Madrid and re-join former club AC Milan. It was a decision he€™d come to regret. Kaka€™s Madrid career was sandwiched in between two spells at Milan, and he scored 23 goals in 85 appearances for Los Blancos, winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana. After the arrival of Gareth Bale however, the Brazilian decided to move on. Kaka went back to Italy but suffered a dreadful season with Milan, with the San Siro side crashing to a disappointing eighth place and failing to qualify for European football for only the first time in 16 years. Kaka€™s contract was terminated, and he joined Orlando City earlier this year, re-joining boyhood club Sao Paulo on loan until the MLS gets underway.
