His goal off the bench against Swansea City in April proved exactly what Siem de Jong could be capable of in the Premier League - but he just didn't feature regularly enough due to injury, making just two starts all season. Newcastle want to build their side around the £6 million Dutch international - so let's hope he can stay fit in 2015-16 and really show what he is capable of. Steve McClaren has spoken highly of him in the past and he would to be able to label De Jong as "like a new signing", should the attacking-midfielder play week-in, week-out.. If he does, then Newcastle could well find themselves in a far-healthier position in the table next season...
