One of the fun things to predict ever year is what division might be the most difficult. The one that jumps out the most right now is the NL Central. The division is stacked because the Cardinals and Pirates have proven they can hang around all year long, then have a strong September and find a way to get in. Even when you think they might be out, their pitching is good enough to get them there. The Brewers were leading the division for much of last year. Then they collapsed in September. That's hanging over them now, so they can either use it as motivation to get back in the playoffs or they will fade away. Then there are the Reds and Cubs, both of whom were more than ten games under .500 last year and really not close. The Reds were destroyed by injuries to key players while the Cubs were still building, but look at them now. The Cubs have a lot of talent. People think they might make the playoffs. It's probably not happening, but they are close. When looking at the playoff scenarios, it's very possible that three teams from this division make it in. That's such a rare thing, but it's the best division and it's going to be tough to knock any of them out.
