10 Predictions For 2015 Major League Baseball Season

6. The Toronto Blue Jays Will End The Longest Playoff Drought In Baseball

Two years ago the Pittsburgh Pirates made the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. Last year the Kansas City Royals ended a nearly 30 year playoff drought. This year it's time for the Toronto Blue Jays to make it back to the postseason. The Jays have one of the best offenses in baseball. Their 3-4 hitting duo of Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion are arguably the best in the league. Then there's the new #5 hitter Josh Donaldson, who is a young superstar who should thrive in a hitter's park like Toronto. Like a lot of teams, there are pitching concerns. They don't have a true ace going into the season, but perhaps one of their young pitchers could surprise and they have enough quality veterans to help them get by. It should be noted that I'm a diehard Jays fan that was only 13 years old when they won their last World Series. All of the third and fourth place finishes in the last 20 years have been tiresome. They finally look like they have a complete team now, so here's hoping they can put it together. Look for them to finish with 90 wins, good enough for one of the wildcard spots in the AL.
