10 Relegated Players Who Deserve To Play In Premier League Next Season

7. André Ayew (Swansea)

André Ayew was not one of Swansea's better players last season. Brought back to the club on deadline day of the January transfer window after a mixed spell with West Ham United, the Ghanaian international appeared 12 times for the Swans and failed to score a single goal, although he did at least make a couple of assists.

After a tough couple of seasons, it could be argued that Ayew no longer has his place in the Premier League, but an argument can also be made that the Ghanaian has been very unlucky. Glimpses of his brilliance have been seen in recent years, but he constantly found himself right in the middle of crisis clubs, struggling with injuries and relegation battles along the way.

At his peak levels, Ayew can be deadly. His first season in the Premier League was a great one as he won a Player of the Month award after his first few weeks on English soil and went on to score 12 league goals. At the age of 28, Ayew is hitting what should be the peak years of his career and could provide a great backup attacking option for several clubs in the top flight.
