5. Bernardo Silva - Manchester City

Although only 23, Bernardo Silva is well on his way to being the complete playmaker. His eight goals and 11 assists for Monaco in Ligue 1 last season, while not Kevin de Bruyne-high numbers, puts him in the same bracket as Philippe Coutinho and Mesut Ozil.

The Portuguese international is ready to make an immediate impact, but might find it tricky to get regular game time this season, with De Bruyne and David Silva in possession of the creative spots. By next season, though, Bernardo will be a key figure for City. His namesake is entering the twilight of his career and should groom his new team-mate as his heir.
