Another recent spat with a reporter came at Holland's World Cup camp earlier this month when asked What do you know about Manchester United? van Gaal stared the journalist down, looked him square in the eyes, and blasted:
Thats a stupid question! Stupid question! Because its the biggest club in the world!
He's not just prickly with the press though. He famously fell out with Luca Toni at Bayern Munich, culminating in the striker being loaned out to Roma and sold on a free transfer.
