2. They Play Their Home Games At The Estadio Jalisco... And They Get The Second-Biggest Crowds In The Mexican League
Club Atlas' stadium holds even more than St James' Park - with the Mexican side's Estadio Jalisco having a capacity of 54,500 when full. The stadium was first opened in 1960 and it hosted matches in the 1968 Olympic Games, as well as the 1970 and 1986 World Cups. Although Club Atlas tend to get the second-highest crowds in the Liga MX, their stadium is only the third largest in Mexico - behind the Estadio Azteca and the Estadio Olimpico Universitario.
