Northampton started excellently this season and won their first two games away at Bristol Rovers and at home to Exeter. After their positive start their form faded during the next two fixtures where they were comfortably beaten by Barnet and Plymouth. The Cobblers are currently 10th in the league and after a mid-table finish last season they will be looking to make a push for the playoffs this time around.
