Having done the odd punditry gig after his playing career came to an end, Roy Keane swore that he would never carry out any media work again, even going so far as to say, Never again. Id rather go to the dentist. Well I guess all of his teeth were up to scratch and he had nothing better to do, for he would become a staple of ITVs football coverage by the time the 2011/12 season rolled around. Not only would Keane return, but hed literally be involved in pretty much any game that the channel was showing, including Champions League, FA Cup and international matches. If going back on his word wasnt enough, he even made up with long-time enemy Patrick Vieira during his days on ITV. In fairness, as punishment Keane would have to put up with sitting next to Andy Townsend for some of the matches. I guess thats whats called karma.
