The former Marseille attacking midfielder, Florian Thauvin played 60 minutes against Arsenal as a solo striker and although looking a little lightweight showed signs he could play a more advanced role (if necessary). As Aleksandar Mitrovic is now suspended for three games, Thauvin could be used again or possibly paired with Papiss Cisse if Steve McClaren fancies a tactical reshuffle against West Ham United.
