Clearly aggrieved by the red card decision, within one minute Steve McClaren had burst down the stairs and began to bellow tactical instructions from the dugout. The Magpies boss' arms were all over the place during the ninety-minutes and he seemed extremely animated during a number of Newcastle chances. At one point the Toon boss made a hip-hop style gesture that urged the 50,000 Geordies to make more noise as Newcastle pushed for a last minute equaliser. It's nice to see McClaren's personality coming out as he has been relatively restrained since starting at the club.
