One faint spark for NUFC during an otherwise bleak afternoon in south Wales was the form of summer signing Chancel Mbemba. Arguably he should have done better for the opener, but Mbemba performed pretty well given that Fabricio Coloccini and Daryl Janmaat both had dreadful games at the Liberty Stadium. In fact, Mbemba had a 100% tackle-completion ratio, being successful in all eight of those he attempted. What's more, the entire Newcastle side themselves only made 19 successful challenges in total, so Mbemba was responsible for a staggering 42% of those.
