17. Season Ticket Renewals Have Been "Strong"... Apparently
Newcastle deny that season ticket sales have been weak, as has been reported in recent weeks, and claim they are "strong" and at a "similar" level compared to last year. Liam Hall, the Young Persons Representative, asked: "Can the club give an update on season ticket renewals after what has been reported recently?" The response was:
"The club stated that despite what has been reported, renewal rates are strong and are similar to this same stage last season. The club is pleased with the take-up by existing and new season ticket holders."
