When the mighty Glasgow Rangers were placed in the Third Division following administration in 2012 and liquidation of the business holding for the company running the club, many people suspected that fans would dwindle from Ibrox Stadium and things would never be the same as they once were. On the contrary, Rangers managed to cement yet another slice of history for themselves by routinely drawing in the biggest attendances in the history of bottom division football.
