5 Most Astute La Liga Summer Transfer Signings (So Far)
5. David Concha - Real Sociedad
With Racing Santander being relegated from the second tier last season, the exodus of any remaining stars had been well anticipated. At the forefront of their talent pool lied David Concha; a highly exciting winger who is currently away with the Spain U19 team at the European Championship's in Greece.
Concha hasn't had to use the tournament as a platform for a better move however, as his future has already been taken care of. David Moyes' Real Sociedad were the ones to beat out a host of competitors for his signature, which eventually came at the cost of a measly one million euros.
It's been well-documented since taking over at Anoeta that David Moyes has been desperate to add a winger of the 18-year-old's profile, while Racing's relegation afforded them the opportunity to make a move which makes complete sense in almost every way for Real Sociedad.
Having signed a five-year-contract with La Real, Concha's arrival not only fills a position of real need, but brings with him potential for real longevity with the club. At the cost of just one million euros, there is little doubting that the Basque outfit have pulled off a move that will be looked back on fondly in years to come.
