Freddy Eastwood had returned home to the club where he made his name. It seems an eternity ago that Eastwood scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in 2006 which made him hot property for higher league clubs. This goal and a good scoring record earned him a transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers in a £1.5 million move. Since then Eastwood has lost his way slightly and struggled for form and fitness while at Wolves and his next club Coventry. Despite this Southend fans are still happy to see their prodigal son return and I think he will have a big say if the Roots Hall club can go one step further than last season and clinch that all important promotion. So there you have my list of which players are really going to make an impact on this season's League 2. But have I missed someone? Has your club signed the Messi of League 2?
