Arsenal have been crying out for a world class centre forward ever since Thierry Henry opted to move away from the Gunners to Barcelona. They appear to have finally found that player.

The signing of Lacazette in the summer turned plenty of heads, not least Gunners fans', who had been expecting Arsene Wenger to once again to be careful with the club's coffers during the transfer window. However, Wenger surprised everyone, splashing out over £50m on the French international.

Lacazette got off to the perfect start on his debut, heading home with his first chance of the game to send the Arsenal faithful into raptures. He hit the net once more last weekend against Bournemouth, turning the ball home from the edge of the area with a composed finish which drew comparisons to Arsenal legend Henry.

If the pacey striker can continue how he has set off then there is every chance Arsenal have got their new striking hero and he will no doubt be hunting down Henry's goal record before too long.
