As mentioned, lots of people are talking about Man Citys attack, but a lot less people are discussing Arsenals defence. I suppose thats predictable really since attacking football is simply more fashionable than the teams that play with more balance, which is backed up with a strong defensive record. However, its worth remember that teams have won the Premier League title before largely back by a defence that not too many teams are able to breach. Chelsea have conceded the least goals in the league this season with just 20 from their 24 games. Nevertheless, the Gunners are only just behind with 26 conceded. The North London club have also benefitted from an ability to keep clean sheets this season. From the 24 games they have played so far this season, they have managed a clean sheet in 11 of those games. This is one of the best records in the league with only West Ham faring better with the 12 that they have kept; Chelsea have also kept 11 clean sheets while Man City have managed nine.
