4. The Balance Of Youth And Experience

Arsene Wenger has shown this season that he trusts his young players, even when they don't look quite ready, introducing them around an experienced spine of the team. Arsenal's young talent is well documented, with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and most recently Yaya Sanogo impressing on the pitch. They've all contributed to the team this season and have been instrumental to the team's progression. As well as the regular youngsters, there's also players like Serge Gnabry and Gedion Zelalem that have had a taste of the first team and look on course for a superb future at the football club. The defence is where experience is most notable, with the likes of Bacary Sagna and Per Mertesaker showing their worth time and time again this season. In midfield Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini are both hugely influential and experienced, and both have proved strong additions to the squad - it is players like that pair who will have the biggest impact on their younger teammates. Players like Tomas Rosicky have also proved that they are still of use, even with some unconvinced of that value in the summer.
