Arsenal Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Arsene Wenger Could Make

2. Demba Ba

In a similar way to Alvaro Morata, Demba Ba could also bolster Arsenal€™s attack force on a short-term basis. The Gunners were linked with a loan move for the Senegalese striker last summer but Chelsea boss reportedly pulled the plug as he considered his London rivals a title threat. Ba has been well-and-truly on the fringes at Stamford Bridge since, and hasn€™t played a league game for the Blues this year. His last appearances came against Crystal Palace on December 14, making a seven-minute cameo from the substitutes€™ bench. Chelsea have this week agreed to sell Juan Mata €“ another forgotten star in west London €“ to Manchester United and Arsenal may well be tempted to find out if they will do the same with Ba. Apparently unwanted and definitely unused, the ex-Newcastle man is wasting away on the bench but his future could be salvaged by an Arsenal bid €“ even on loan.
