Geoffrey Kondogbia is one of the brightest up-and-coming defensive midfielders in European football. The 20-year-old has already won one cap for France at senior level to go with his 48 caps at youth level and there's no arguing against his ability. Another star endowed with versatility, Kondogbia can play left-back as well as centre-midfield, which would suit Arsenal taking into account Nacho Monreal is set to miss the start of the season with back injury. The Frenchman has attracted interest from a number of the continent's top clubs this summer, with Manchester City and Chelsea joining the Gunners in their interest. Another powerful and imposing star, Kondogbia would provide the Gunner's midfield with a bit more bite and clearly has his best years ahead of him. His club Sevilla aren't interested in selling but the fact that there is a buy-out clause of 20 million (£17 million) inserted in his contract means a deal could still happen this summer.
