Another star who has just enjoyed a successful Confederations Cup tournament is Japan's Kaisuke Honda, who was one of the stand-out players of the competition. The Japan international almost inspired his country to a shock win over Italy, and despite racing into a two goal lead after Honda had opened the scoring from the penalty spot, the Blue Samurai lost in an incredible 4-3 defeat and cruelly crashed out of the competition. The 27-year-old is a free agent after quitting Russia side CSKA Moscow and can go anywhere he likes for absolutely nothing. The Gunners were linked with the attacking midfielder last year while Wenger has previously expressed his regret in not signing the star. And now that the creative playmaker is available for nothing, Wenger would be mad not to snap him up.
