It€™s often said that the key to staying in the Premier League is winning your home games, but it€™s one of those things that Aston Villa struggle to do. In fact, they are one of those teams that seem to perform better away from home. Villa€™s home record ranks them 19th in the Premier League with eight defeats, two draws and only three wins this season; they also have scored only 12 goals but have conceded 21. Recent performances and results at Villa Park has also been a big concern with four defeats, one draw and one win from their last six matches; only six goals have been scored with 12 being conceded. In fact, they currently have the worst home form in the Premier League based on recent games. Obviously, home fans expect you to do well, and not picking up results is always going to put a manager under pressure. However, it€™s not exactly a new problem as the team also struggled to pick up results at home last season. The thing that might be a concern for fans is that it is another one of those areas that doesn€™t seem to be progressing.
