Chelsea Transfers: 10 Possible January Deals

5. Mohamed Salah OUT

Once a man who tortured Chelsea and Branislav Ivanovic while wearing a Basel shirt, Mohamed Salah has barely had a chance to emerge from the shadows of Eden Hazard and Willian since signing for his current employers in January 2014. Jose Mourinho parted with £11million in a last-ditch effort to steal Salah from under the noses of Liverpool last summer, and yet has given the Egyptian only one start €“ in a League Cup tie against Shrewsbury €“ since arriving in London. So little action all but condemns the 22-year-old to seek furthering his development elsewhere, either permanently or on-loan. Inter Milan are said to be keen on offering the winger a route away from west London €“ a deal Mourinho is reportedly willing to give the green light. Does Salah really have no future at Stamford Bridge, though? He's certainly a dangerous player on his day and given consistency is hard to come by in players barely into their 20s, there's plenty of time to refine his game. Mourinho can run a pretty tight ship when comes to transfer policy, but he should afford Salah at least another season to find his feet €“ perhaps on loan. Probability: 7/10
