Chelsea have a long-standing interest in Loic Remy that dates back to 2012 during the striker's days at Marseille. The French international even travelled with his agent to London for talks over a £15 million move, but nothing came of it and the player instead ended up at Queens Park Rangers a year later. Since then Remy has impressed in the Premier League, scoring six times for QPR before their relegation to the Championship and a further 14 for Newcastle United while on loan last season. With QPR battling to get back into the topflight next season after reaching the play-off final and the Magpies finishing mid-table under Alan Pardew, it looks certain Remy will move on to pastures new this summer, with no shortages in offers. Chelsea's London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are keen - will the Blues themselves renew their interest?
