Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan is another possible understudy to Lukaku, a young forward with a good few seasons left in him and the potential to boost Evertons attacking options. The Uruguay international enjoyed success in front of goal last term, netting 15 times in 28 starts for the Ligue 1 outfit, but hasnt been quite as prolific this term. He caught the eye of Martinez last year, but Everton arent the only ones with eyes on the 22-year-old. West Brom have also been monitoring his progress and are believed to have sent scouts to watch him when Bordeaux took on Liverpool in the Europa League. Reports suggest that Rolan is rated at around £15 million, which could put him out of Evertons price range.
